Centre for Civic Concord

The Centre for Civic Concord (CCC) is an independent online research centre dedicated to understanding and strengthening social cohesion, institutional trust, and democratic tolerance. Its work examines the growing political and cultural polarisation of contemporary Western societies, with particular attention to the relationship between liberal and conservative traditions, elite formation, institutional openness, political legitimacy, and the widening divide between institutions and the wider public.

The CCC has newly been created by Dr Alasdair Marshall, a former Associate Professor in Southampton University Business School. Anyone who is interested in writing think pieces for its website, or in contributing scholarly manuscripts for its forthcoming online journal, Concordia Civica, should contract alasdair@civicconcord.org for more information.
