Case Work

Since 2007 AFAF has undertaken case work defending academics and students who have been subject to complaints, disciplinary investigations, threatened with dismissal, or dismissed because they dared to exercise their freedom of speech. Our experienced case workers come from union backgrounds and we support AFAF network members through giving personal support and advice. Where necessary we will take a free speech issue further by writing to universities and referring matters to our lawyers.

We are all volunteers with decades of case work experience. If you are an AFAF network member, do get in touch as soon as possible once you feel under threat. Do not wait. If you are not a member sign up here.
