Birmingham Universities SAFAF

Birmingham Universities SAFAF branch was formed in September 2026. Membership is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students at any university, or college, in the Birmingham area who want to defend free speech and academic freedom.

We invite interested students to join us, irrespective of their disciplinary background, or political views. We ask only that you are committed to defending and advocating for free speech and academic freedom as defined in the AFAF Statement of Academic Freedom.
